American Cancer Society (ACS)

American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBS)
The American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBS) is a professional organization that advocates for the highest standards of care and quality in breast surgery. It was founded in 1995 by a group of pioneers in the field, and since then has grown to include over 3,000 members across all 50 states. The Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons (SLS) is a non-profit professional organization that was founded in 1989. It is dedicated to advancing the science, education and practice of laparoscopic surgery. The Urology Care Foundation (UCF) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the highest standards of urological clinical care through research, education and the promotion of the specialty of urology. It was established in 1990 by the American Urological Association (AUA) and is supported by donations from individuals, corporations and foundations. The UCF’s mission is to improve patient outcomes and quality of life through research, education, advocacy and patient support programs. The UCF works with urologists, researchers, healthcare professionals and patients to advance scientific understanding of diseases that affect the urinary system including kidney stones, urinary tract infections (UTI), prostate cancer, bladder cancer and incontinence.
American Urological Association (AUA)
The American Urological Association (AUA) is a professional organization of urologists that promotes the highest standards of urologic care. Founded in 1902, the AUA serves more than 22,000 members from all over the world and is dedicated to advancing the science and practice of urology. Its mission is to promote the highest quality pediatric, adult and geriatric urological care; foster research; provide education for healthcare professionals; and increase public awareness about urology. The AUA works with other national organizations to develop guidelines for patient care and to advance research in all aspects of urology.
